Концерт Career Suicide у Києві завершився інтернет-баталіями

13 серпня до Києва із концертом приїхав старий канадський панк-гурт Career Suicide. До того у рамках туру команда дала кілька концертів у Росії. 

Виступ пройшов вдало і глядачі були задоволеними, однак багатьом не сподобалися висловлювання вокаліста у дусі "Fuck Russia", які зі сцени лунали кілька разів. Зокрема, відвідувачі наголосили, що російські виступи пройшли без проблем, та ще й на розігріві київського концерту виступала бєлгородська група Wrong Again. По суті людям не сподобалося лицемірство музиканта. 

Однак, у дискусію увірвався організатор концерту, який перевів її геть в інше русло. Висловлювання канадця він назвав піар-ходом і таким, що не має зачіпати впевнену у собі людину. Окрім того він звинуватив українські хардкор-гурти у фінансуванні війни "національними тряпками" (тобто прапором) і порадив їм слідкувати за собою. 

Один із відвідувачів врешті дістав відповідь вокаліста  Career Suicide, де той пояснив, що постійно такими темами "розпалює" натовп і в інших країнах, але нічого не має проти жодної нації. 

"Hey Sasha, thank you for coming to the show, it was a fucking blast! I can't believe we got to play in Kiev, it's really amazing to us that we could travel so far from home and meet so many people that were so excited about our stupid band, haha!

As for the comment, I think I just wasn't being very clear... we had incredible shows in Russia. Both Saint-Petersburg and Moscow were amazing shows! To be honest, this whole tour was incredible, but I think the 3 shows at the end in Russia and Ukraine were the highlights because the crowds were so positive and wild. The 'fuck Russia' stuff on stage was just like cheering on Ukraine to be even crazier, because I understand there is a huge rivalry (for historical and political reasons). Probably because of the political situation I should not be making stupid comments like this, because it is a much more complicated topic than some stupid punk singer from Canada will understand, but it seemed to get the crowd excited. That was the only reason for saying it, not because there was any disrespect to concerts in Russia.

Anyway, I hope everyone understands it was all for fun, nothing more. Like a stupid soccer chant or something to get the crowd to get even crazier. I did the same thing in Madrid, trying to get them to be even more crazy than Barcelona the night before, because there too I know there is a huge rivalry. Same with Italy, I told them the same thing about France to get even more crazy than the French audiences. It's a stupid tactic of course, but it usually works to make the show extra crazy, haha.
